About the Role

 

Reporting to the Senior Program Director, you will be a vital link between organizational strategy and day-to-day operations. You will oversee Veggielution’s Environmental Education, Farm Education, and Food Business programs, ensuring high-quality implementation for East San José residents. This role is perfect for a leader who enjoys coaching staff, designing culturally responsive curricula, and coordinating cross-program initiatives that connect farming, nature, and local entrepreneurship.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 3–5 years in program management or coordination, including experience supervising staff, interns, or volunteers.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required for this role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong organizational skills with mastery of Google Workspace and project management tools like Asana and Slack.
  • Education Expertise: Experience in curriculum development and program evaluation/data tracking.
  • Mission Alignment: Familiarity with food systems, urban agriculture, or workforce development is highly preferred.

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Salary: $77,126 per year (non-negotiable to ensure pay equity).
